Undergroundfilm Maker Festival
January 31st 2008 01:15
In an era where filmmakers are called 'users' who 'generate content,' the Undergroundfilm Maker Festival (UGFMF) offers a new approach to film festivals by putting the spotlight back where it belongs: behind the camera.
UGFMF recognizes and rewards individuals who are talented, prolific and eclectic in the art and craft of cinema. Each filmmaker will be required to submit a portfolio of films, a videotaped interview and be assigned a new project, which they must complete in time for the festival screening in San Francisco.
