One of the most influential British bands of the 90s is coming to the Bay Area this month as part of their North American tour.
The Verve released their debut album, A Storm in Heaven, in 1993 and went onto record world-wide smash hits like "Bitter Sweet Symphony" and "The Drugs Don't Work". The alternative rock band announced their reunification in 2007 after some seven years in the wilderness with plans for a new album also in the pipeline.
They will be performing at The Warfield on April 23, 2008.
