Five-piece indie pop band The Pigeon Detectives from the UK is a Beatles, The Kinks and The Velvet Underground influenced band.
Formed in 2002, The Pigeon Detectives finally released their long-awaited debut album, Wait For me, in 2007 which promptly reached platinum selling status back home in England upon its release. Since the turn of the year, the band has headed back into the studio to record their second album, titled Emergency which they hope to have released in late May 2008.
