The Palace of the Legion of Honor

June 13th 2008 02:45
The Palace of the Legion of Honor

The Palace of the Legion of Honor, or Legion of Honor as it is more commonly called, is arguably the city's most beautiful museum.

Overlooking the Golden Gate bridge, the Legion of Honor is a three-quarter scale adaptation of the 18th-century Palais de la Légion d’Honneur in Paris and houses an impressive collection of 4000-year old ancient and European art.

The Legion of Honor is also one of San Francisco's most sought after venues for corporate entertaining and special events, weddings, and private parties.
