Tender Ground
April 9th 2008 21:39
Tender Ground makes its San Francisco premiere this month and is an evening of three poignant and humorous aerial theatre pieces.
Using the awkward, metaphoric beauty of body in flight, co-directors Lisa Christensen and Andrew Purchin explore several ever-manifesting conditions of humanity-homelessness, mental health and aging. Characterizing the vulnerability and perseverance of the human spirit, Tender Ground unearths the ideal beauty within "imperfection."
