Kelly Tunstall and Ferris Plock: Kings and Queens
December 27th 2007 06:30
Bay Area artists, Kelly Tunstall and Ferris Plock will be showcasing their new work at the Stussy SF.
In this exhibit, the multiple meanings of the symbols and characters found on common playing cards are explored. In keeping with the style of the western traditional suits (aces, diamonds, hearts, and jacks) the work is highly stylized and highly contrasting in color. However, these new works once again display alternately elegant and humorous figures that are characteristic of Tunstall and Plock personal styles.
