Thrash metal band Death Angel, the pioneers of the genre in our very own Bay Area, will be playing at Slim's on the last day of February.
Formed in San Francisco in 1982, the group split up in 1991 but reformed ten years later in 2001 at a benefit concert for Chuck Billy. Their performance at the Slim's later this month is in support of their new studio album, Killing Season, released on February 26, 2008.
