Asian Art Museum

San Francisco's Asian Art Museum is one of the largest museums in the Western world devoted exclusively to Asian Art, with a collection of over 17,000 artworks spanning 6,000 years of history.
The museum features a permanent collection of artworks and also holds many special events throughout the year such as the Asian American Film Festival and Japanese New Year Bell Ringing Ceremony being just a few of its many highlights.
There is also free admission to all on the first Sunday of every month and the family programs offered on that day!
